Invoice statuses
What is this?
What each invoice status means and what to do.
How does it work?
- Payment due — the invoice is issued; pay the full remaining balance before the deadline shown on it (48 hours after issue for an invoice issued under the updated policy).
- Overdue — the deadline has passed and a balance is still owed; contact RideAuction if payment is on its way.
- Payment partially received (on a purchase) — a manual receipt has been recorded but a balance remains; follow the invoice instructions for the remainder.
- Partly paid (on an invoice that lists several units) — RideAuction has recorded payment for some of its units and a balance remains. Pay the remaining balance before the deadline; it turns Paid only when every unit is covered. A part payment is never shown as Paid.
- Paid — RideAuction has recorded your payment (recorded manually by RideAuction; no payment is processed on this site).
- Voided — the invoice was withdrawn (for example to correct it) and is not payable; a corrected invoice replaces it.
- Closed — the sale was cancelled; nothing is owed on this invoice.
What do I need to do?
- Pay only an invoice that shows Payment due or Overdue.
What happens next?
A voided invoice stays in your list for your records, next to its replacement.
