Time extensions
What is this?
A qualifying bid in a lot’s final 2 minutes resets that lot’s remaining time to 2 minutes.
How does it work?
- It can happen again and again — every qualifying bid in the final 2 minutes resets the clock.
- Only that lot changes. Other lots keep their own closing times.
- The lot shows TIME EXTENDED and its new closing time.
What do I need to do?
- Watch the lot’s countdown, not a fixed clock time, in the final minutes.
What happens next?
The lot closes when 2 minutes pass with no qualifying bid.
