Unit details: where does this information come from?

What is this?

Step 1 of Submit Units. The year, make, model, VIN, mileage, hours and description come from the unit in your Ride inventory.

How does it work?

  • RideAuction reads the unit from your Ride dealer portal; you do not retype it.
  • Auction-only drafts: choose Unit details inside RideAuction, correct the fields and Save & continue. Your entries stay on screen if saving fails. If someone changed the unit, reload and review before saving again. Marketplace units still use the RevLane Dealer Portal editor.
  • When RideAuction approves the unit, these details are fixed in the lot as bidders see them; later Ride edits no longer change the lot.

What do I need to do?

  • Choose Continue submission to open the first missing item or requested correction.
  • Use Still needed and its Fix links; review each specific correction before resubmitting.
  • Check the details, then continue to Unit location.

What happens next?

Step 2: Unit location.
