How reports and exports work
What is this?
Money & reports → Reports & exports lists your dealership’s purchases (buyers) and sales (sellers) with the same figures as your purchase and sale pages, ready to download or print.
How does it work?
- Purchases shows each unit you won: the invoice, total due, credits, refunds, net paid, what is still owed, and the dispute and delivery status.
- Sales shows each unit you sold: sale amount, RideAuction seller fee, tax, adjustments, your settlement, what is still to be paid to you, and the dispute and release status.
- The figures come from the same records as your purchase and sale pages (your sale’s ledger and settlement statement), so they always agree.
- Choose a date range — Today, Last 7 days, Month to date, Previous month or a custom range (business days in Eastern time) — and search for a unit, auction, lot or invoice.
- “Download CSV” builds the file on our server from exactly your filters (every matching row) for Excel or Google Sheets. “Print view” prints or saves it as a PDF from your browser.
- You only see your own dealership’s records — never the other dealership in a sale, anyone’s maximum bid or a seller’s reserve.
- Reports are your dealership’s money, so they need the “Manage auction activity” authority. The same authority shows the amounts and the payout statement on each sold unit; other staff still see the unit, its status, pickup and handover. Without it the entry is not in your menu; ask your dealership’s RideAuction administrator.
- “Still owed” adds up only what each sale still owes. If one sale is overpaid (for example a credit note not fully refunded), the overpayment is shown on its own line and is not taken off another sale.
What do I need to do?
- Open Money & reports → Reports & exports.
- Choose Purchases or Sales, a date range and (optionally) a search.
- Download the CSV or open the print view.
What happens next?
Open a unit’s purchase or sale page from Purchases & invoices or Sales for its full details.
