Your seller payout statement

What is this?

For each sold unit, the statement shows the sale amount, the deductions, the amount payable to your dealership (your payout), what has been paid and when.

How does it work?

  • Open Sales and the unit to view the ledger-derived seller statement. Sale price, seller fee, recorded Reserve Auction Fee, recorded taxes, adjustments, credit notes and reversals each count exactly once.
  • Amount payable minus recorded payouts equals the seller ledger balance. No display correction changes a charge or payout. A reversal or credit is a new ledger record, never a rewritten original.
  • A recorded payout is then matched by RideAuction to its bank statement. That match is a separate check; a payout is never recorded twice.
  • Open the purchase or sale. One current next step names who acts and explains anything that holds it up. Invoice issued, payment confirmed, Bill of Sale issued, ready for pickup / picked up, optional delivery and the seller payout are separate steps. “Seller paid” never means the whole sale is complete.

What do I need to do?

  • Compare the statement lines and recorded payouts.
  • Ask RideAuction to review a discrepancy; do not treat a zero balance as completion.

What happens next?

Use the current next step for any remaining BOS, pickup, delivery, payout-reconciliation or dispute obligation.
