60-minute Pending offers
What is this?
Answer a private seller offer or manage your unit after the 60-minute bidding stage.
How does it work?
- After a reserve is not met, the attempt enters Pending for up to 24 hours. The seller may send one offer at a time to eligible dealerships in bid order. Each dealership has up to two hours to accept or decline, capped by the Pending deadline.
- A buyer sees only its own offer and may accept or decline it. Acceptance records a binding decision, but it does not complete sale paperwork or release the reserved unit; follow the separate verified payment and operational release safeguards.
- The seller may confirm a below-reserve offer with a recorded reason, or authorize a move to Closing when the approved threshold does not exceed the carried qualifying bid. At the displayed deadline, Pending expires automatically to an unsold result; the existing unsold follow-up releases the listing hold. An accepted offer automatically creates the sale transaction and Bill of Sale preparation request; invoice issuance and BOS legal approval remain separate.
What do I need to do?
- Sellers: review the next eligible dealership and send one private offer, or authorize Closing when available.
- Buyers: answer the offer before its displayed deadline in My offers or the private Pending view. After responding, you return to My offers within RideAuction.
What happens next?
The auction remains private and the canonical unit stays committed throughout Pending. Interrupted completion retries automatically. If the recorded leader becomes ineligible, bids stay intact and the auction waits for an eligibility review; failed completion never means there were no bids. Contact RideAuction support if the exception persists.
