Schedule a 60-minute auction

What is this?

Reserve one existing unit and submit it. RideAuction approves it, or — for a Trusted Dealer — it is approved and placed on your schedule when you submit. Approval, publication and launch admission are separate.

How does it work?

  • The inventory picker shows 15 matching units per page, the total and current page. Search by make, model, stock number or identifier; Previous and Next preserve your search. Units already reserved for an auction submission are hidden, including draft reservations. Open All submissions to manage them. Choose a unit first, then set its schedule; First, Previous, Next and Last navigation appears above and below the available inventory and preserves your search. No matching results means change or clear your search; temporary unavailability means retry, not re-upload. An inaccessible or ineligible unit must be corrected in its authorized inventory workspace.
  • Choose a single draft, live or hidden unit from your Ride inventory, including Marketplace listings. From Unsold & offers, choose Relist as a 60-minute auction to preserve the previous result, bids and evidence.
  • Set the starting bid, reserve or no reserve, local start and time zone. Canadian choices are labelled Canada / city (for example Canada / Toronto); United States time zones remain available and are labelled separately. These are scheduling time zones, not registration-country eligibility. These friendly names preserve the correct local-time and daylight-saving rules. Preview lasts 1 to 96 hours before the start; the active duration is frozen at 60 minutes. The advance-bid API records a binding confidential dealership maximum during UPCOMING. Only authorized bidders at that dealership can read or increase it; it cannot be decreased or withdrawn. The first accepted priority remains through increases. It consumes buying capacity until an authoritative lifecycle event converts or releases it, including after internal opening when outbid. The buyer interface is available, while public execution and live bidding remain controlled by the global launch gate.
  • Validation explains the fields to fix and keeps your entered values. Choose No reserve to ignore a previous reserve amount; for Reserve, enter an amount at least as high as the starting bid. If a network error leaves saving uncertain, check All submissions before retrying. Continuing reserves the canonical unit against conflicting auctions and sales. Finish its normal photos, location, disclosures and certifications, then submit for review. Withdraw an unapproved submission to release its reservation.

What do I need to do?

  • Choose the unit and enter the schedule and sale terms.
  • Complete the existing submission steps and submit for approval.

What happens next?

Approval (automatic for a Trusted Dealer, whose own schedule is the auction choice) records a single-unit attempt with frozen terms. For a Trusted Dealer the attempt is also published and its launch authorized automatically once the launch checklist passes (My 60-minute auctions shows any waiting reason with its fix). For every other dealer, Admin must publish, inspect readiness and explicitly admit its future opening after execution release. A global hold, pause or missed opening keeps it unavailable; it never catches up automatically. Ask Admin to review the restriction instead of creating a duplicate unit.
