Submit Units (or complete a unit RideAuction added)

What is this?

Sellers auction units from their Ride inventory; RideAuction can also prepare units and ask you to complete them.

How does it work?

  • Normally an auction stops accepting new units when preview starts. If Admin opens a temporary preview exception, the auction appears in the auction selector until its stated deadline. All normal selling access, submission completeness and Admin approval checks still apply. Only new approved lots are appended. The exception closes automatically no later than bidding opening; an unapproved submission does not become a lot automatically.
  • Eligible signed-in sellers find Manage My X Units and Submit a Unit in the main RideAuction header on desktop, or in the header menu on smaller screens. Manage My X Units opens your active Auction submissions; X is the authorized active-submission count, not total Marketplace inventory or another dealership’s stock. If the count cannot be loaded, the number is omitted. Submit a Unit opens format selection. The homepage no longer repeats account-access and unit-summary panels. Find access details in your account and current work or history in Manage My Units.
  • Active / Action Required shows only current work. History / Cancelled / Withdrawn preserves closed submissions, approval decisions and withdrawn lots. A past Approved decision does not keep a withdrawn lot active. Search by unit title or submission ID; opening history never reactivates a unit. Dashboard totals cover all active submissions, not just the first page. A dealer draft holds its inventory commitment until its authorized dealer withdraws it.
  • Open Submit Units and choose a draft, live or hidden unit from your Revlane inventory. Imported drafts can go directly to Auction preparation; Marketplace publication is not required.
  • Or RideAuction adds your unit and asks you for the remaining details (“units need auction details”).
  • Either way you go through the same seven steps: Unit details, Unit location, Mandatory photos, Condition Report, Listing photos, Auction preferences, Review & submit. On the submission page the progress guide (Draft → Submitted → In review → Approved → In auction → Visible to buyers) sits above the unit’s name, and the seven steps follow as one horizontal strip: each shows Complete, how many required items are missing, or Action required, and the step you are on is highlighted. Select a step to open it; on a phone, scroll the strip sideways.

What do I need to do?

  • Open Sell and start with the unit, or open the units that need details.

What happens next?

Complete the auction details, photos and Condition Report, then submit for Auction review (a Trusted Dealer submits to place the unit in the chosen auction). This does not publish the source draft on Marketplace.
