Complete auction details
What is this?
Starting bid, sale format, condition & disclosures, photos and the unit’s location are required before review.
How does it work?
- Starting bid: at least $100.
- Sale format: Reserve (with a private reserve) or No Reserve.
- Search engines: while your unit is in a regular public auction, its page is listed for search engines automatically, with no reserve, no seller name and no price. There is nothing to set. They decide when it appears in their results. 60-minute auctions are not listed.
- Condition Report: every required question answered by you (nothing is filled in for you), then acknowledged.
- Photos and the unit’s Canadian location are required.
What do I need to do?
- First choose a compact format card: Regular Public Auction (More exposure) or 60-Minute Auction (Fast-paced selling), then select your unit. Choosing a format does not create or submit a draft. Regular requests can choose an eligible preferred event or No preference. Preferred auction is optional: without a selection, staff will place the unit in an eligible open auction after review and subject to availability. A Trusted Dealer must choose the auction (standard, or its own 60-minute schedule) because the unit is placed there when submitted. The summary shows saved preferences; save changes to update it. 60-minute requests choose their own single-unit opening and time zone.
- For an existing unsubmitted draft, including Bulk Upload, save your work then open 60-Minute Auction from Sell and choose the same unit. Review the same unit, new schedule and prices and explicitly confirm. The same photos and disclosures are retained; no additional inventory or submission is created. Once the individual request is saved, its frozen schedule cannot be silently converted back. For an unapproved request use the existing withdrawal/replacement workflow if a different format is needed.
- Open the unit in Sell; the page lists exactly what is still needed. The Auction step and final review show your requested format. If your preferred regular event becomes unavailable, choose another or explicitly select No preference and save before submitting. Admin sees your request and makes the final placement decision.
What happens next?
When nothing is missing, submit the unit for RideAuction review — or, as a Trusted Dealer, to place it in the auction you chose.
