Submit directly as a Trusted Dealer

What is this?

If your dealership is a Trusted Dealer, a complete unit is approved and placed in the auction you choose the moment you submit. Bidding still opens only at the auction’s scheduled time.

How does it work?

  • What it is: Trusted Dealer status lets RideAuction skip the routine staff review of your unit. You choose the auction yourself, and the unit is approved and placed in it automatically when you submit. The page records that it was approved automatically under your Trusted Dealer status, with the auction and the time. While the designation is active, a small green Trusted Dealer badge sits beside the submission status at the top of the page; hover over, focus or tap it for the details.
  • You must choose an auction. In Auction preferences pick a standard auction from the list (each shows when bidding opens), or set up a 60-minute schedule for the unit — that schedule is your choice. “No preference — staff will place this unit” is not offered to Trusted Dealers.
  • Nothing opens early. A scheduled auction waits for its opening time; existing bids, other lots and the auction’s times are not changed. A 60-minute unit is placed on your schedule and, as a Trusted Dealer, it is also published and its launch authorized automatically — no Admin step is needed. It opens at your scheduled time only while RideAuction’s new 60-minute launches are switched on.
  • Automatic 60-minute launch: after the unit is published automatically, RideAuction checks it with the same launch checklist staff use (unit readiness, frozen fees, the global launch setting and that the opening is still more than 30 seconds away) and then authorizes the launch. My 60-minute auctions shows “Published automatically (Trusted Dealer)” and “Launch authorized automatically (Trusted Dealer)”. If something must be fixed first it shows “Automatic launch waiting:” with the reason and a direct link to fix it; the check repeats automatically after you fix it. RideAuction can still hold, pause, unpublish, reschedule or cancel the auction; after any of those, launching it is an Admin decision.
  • Everything else still applies: the required VIN and odometer photos, the Condition Report, your certifications, the fee acknowledgements, reserve and starting-bid rules, and any inspection requirement. If something is missing the page lists it and takes you to the first item.
  • If the auction you chose can no longer take the unit (it started, was cancelled or paused, or is for a different kind of unit) the submit is refused with the reason, nothing is placed, your draft stays editable and no other auction is substituted. Choose another auction and submit again.
  • If your Trusted Dealer status is not active when you submit, the unit goes to RideAuction review instead and the page tells you; you keep everything you entered.
  • Submitting twice or retrying a slow request never places the unit twice. A report that RideAuction wants to look at is still placed, and RideAuction can review it, move the unit or withdraw it afterwards.

What do I need to do?

  • Open Auction preferences and choose an auction (or set up a 60-minute schedule).
  • Finish the remaining steps, then choose “Submit and place in auction”.
  • Check the placement on the submission page: auction, opening time and lot.

What happens next?

Watch the unit and answer buyer questions. You can withdraw a standard-auction unit until that auction’s preview starts; a 60-minute unit cannot be withdrawn on the site, so contact RideAuction. Nothing happens to bidding until the auction opens at its scheduled time.
