Post-auction offers
What is this?
A seller whose unit didn’t sell can accept offers for a few days; an accepted offer is a normal RideAuction purchase.
How does it work?
- Only units the seller opened to offers take offers, until the time shown on the lot page.
- Who can offer: the same dealers who can bid on that unit (never the seller’s own dealership).
- Your offer is private: other dealers never see it, and the seller never sees which dealership you are. The reserve is never shown.
- The seller accepts, counters or declines. If they counter, you can accept or decline. One waiting offer per dealership — withdraw it to send a different amount.
- An offer is a binding purchase commitment, so your dealership’s buying limits and any hold apply when you send it, when you accept a counter-offer and when the seller accepts it.
- Offers end automatically when the window closes.
What do I need to do?
- Open the lot, enter your offer in dollars (before the buyer fee, processing fee and taxes) and confirm.
- Watch your notifications or My offers for the seller’s answer.
What happens next?
If an offer is accepted, the purchase appears in Purchases with the buyer fee, the processing fee (CAD $185 when the unit needs title or registration documents), invoice and payment steps — exactly like winning at auction.

- Reserve not metBidding ended below the private reserve, so the unit did not sell.
