When RideAuction enters your answers for you

What is this?

If your dealership asks RideAuction to complete a unit, your answers are labelled “Entered by RideAuction for the dealer”. They stay your statements, and you can change them while the unit can be edited.

How does it work?

  • RideAuction first records who at your dealership asked, their role, the date and how. Without that record RideAuction can’t save an answer, certify or submit for you.
  • While the unit is a draft, or was returned for changes, you see the answers on your submission page with the label.
  • When RideAuction submits for you, your dealership’s people with Submit Units authority get a “Submitted for you” notice with a link to the unit. The certification names RideAuction, never one of your staff.
  • Buyers see the same label on the lot, without anyone’s name. If you submit the answers yourself, the label says you confirmed them.

What do I need to do?

  • Open the unit and check every answer. They are your dealership’s statements, and buyers rely on them.
  • Change anything that isn’t right and save: your answers replace RideAuction’s and lose the label.
  • If the unit was already submitted, contact RideAuction and ask for changes before it is approved.

What happens next?

A unit RideAuction submitted waits for RideAuction’s review, even for a Trusted Dealer. After approval the record is fixed, and later corrections follow the normal correction steps.
