Winning and Outbid

What is this?

WINNING means your dealership has the highest bid; OUTBID means you bid but another bidder now leads.

How does it work?

  • Live Bid History shows the registered dealership company name and a small logo, business image or company initials to authenticated eligible verified dealers. Company disclosure is mandatory for new bids: accept the current Auction Terms before bidding, with no opt-out. Reliable original bid-authorization identity and Terms-acceptance evidence is required. Your leading entry still says You · Highest Bidder. Current, earlier and live entries follow the same rule. Older entries without reliable evidence remain anonymous; later profile changes never rewrite them. Staff names, contact details and private maximums are never shown. Public visitors cannot see company identities.
  • Green Winning and red Outbid use matching labels, icons and soft backgrounds across cards and mobile bidding panels. Blue Place Bid remains the normal bidding action; a seller-owned unit has a blue Your unit badge with a store icon. Styling never grants access or submits a bid. Existing confirmation and permission checks still apply.
  • Your status updates on the lot and in the auction lineup without reloading.
  • In the auction room, Live Activity uses compact Winning and Outbid badges on the newest update for each lot. Older updates do not repeat a current winning claim. Select a row to open its bidding panel.
  • A private maximum can answer your bid instantly — you will then see OUTBID right away.
  • You get an in-app notification when you are outbid.

What do I need to do?

  • If OUTBID, bid again or raise your Max Bid before the lot closes.

What happens next?

At the close, the bidder who is WINNING buys the unit (if any reserve is met).
