Manage your 60-minute auctions
What is this?
Track your scheduled attempts, approval, stage, deadlines and prior results from one dealership-scoped workspace.
How does it work?
- Each unit on My 60-minute auctions has a “What’s happening now” card: the stage (Upcoming, Active bidding, Closing round, Pending offers, Sold or Not sold), the time left, the current bid and number of bids, how many dealerships qualified for the Closing round, who acts now, what happens next and where the unit will appear afterwards. Bidder names and maximums are never shown to the seller. While a unit is still being auctioned it is also listed under After the Auction → In progress. When a result is recorded: sold → After the Auction → Units sold; not sold → Sell → Unsold units & offers (relist or keep it). In the Closing round there is nothing for the seller to do: the result is recorded automatically when the round ends.
- Closing finishes automatically after its server deadline and any bid extensions. A seller-authorized below-reserve threshold applies only to that attempt; the original reserve and bid history remain recorded. Routine completion needs no Admin approval. Interrupted operations retry automatically. A genuine eligibility or qualification exception remains for review without deleting bids or awarding another buyer. An applicable Reserve Fee uses the acknowledged amount for that run; the corrected Active-stage assessment does not retroactively charge completed auctions.
- Active / Action Required shows only current work. History / Cancelled / Withdrawn preserves closed submissions, approval decisions and withdrawn lots. A past Approved decision does not keep a withdrawn lot active. Search by unit title or submission ID; opening history never reactivates a unit. Dashboard totals cover all active submissions, not just the first page. A dealer draft holds its inventory commitment until its authorized dealer withdraws it.
- Open My 60-Minute Auctions to see only attempts and requests belonging to your dealership. A request awaiting approval shows its submission status; approved attempts show their current stage, published status, deadline, pause state and recorded outcome. Admin must separately inspect readiness and allow launch — except for a Trusted Dealer’s unit, which is published and launch-authorized automatically and shows “Published automatically (Trusted Dealer)”, “Launch authorized automatically (Trusted Dealer)” or “Automatic launch waiting:” with the reason and a link to fix it. Rescheduling or cancellation is available only before any advance commitment, opening or bid. A revised schedule needs a fresh launch review; the original terms and evidence remain recorded.
- Use Schedule a Unit to select a single existing Ride inventory unit, set its start, preview, starting bid and Reserve or No Reserve terms, then complete the normal submission and approval process. Marketplace and RideAuction reuse the canonical listing, photos, VIN, location and disclosures; scheduling never creates a second unit.
- An unsold relist creates a new attempt while retaining the earlier attempt, bids and result. The prior record is historical evidence and is not overwritten.
- After a sold result, follow Sales → invoice and payment status → Pickup & release. For this staged 60-minute launch, automated Live Tracker carrier delivery and provider dispatch are disabled. The unit is released for pickup automatically once paid (the buyer may optionally name its staff or transporter under Pickup & release), then the buyer coordinates pickup time and any transport directly with your dealership. Do not promise carrier matching, a RideAuction-arranged driver or live shipment tracking.
- Before pickup, confirm the buyer invoice is paid, the existing release safeguards are satisfied and the active release is valid (and, if it names a person or transporter, that it is them). Verify the release document at your gate and use the normal seller pickup confirmation. Never hand over the unit while payment is on hold/reversed or the release is expired, cancelled or names someone else.
- RideAuction invoices and records payment through its existing sale ledger. The buyer is not charged an additional Ride platform fee for delivery, and no automated carrier invoice, dispatch or provider settlement is created for these 60-minute sales. Sale proceeds settlement remains a separate canonical transaction step. Invoice issuance is not payment confirmation.
- Naming a pickup person is optional for the buyer. Agree pickup instructions directly and keep the unit secured until the release is valid. If payment or a release safeguard is blocked, contact RideAuction support; do not create a shipment, mark a payment, issue a duplicate invoice or release inventory manually. Public execution remains controlled by the separate launch gate.
What do I need to do?
- Use the Dealer Inventory action to start from a specific eligible unit, or open Schedule a Unit.
- Check My 60-Minute Auctions for review status and stage-specific seller actions.
- Use Pending Offers for private offers and the existing Sales and post-sale pages for completed outcomes.
What happens next?
If the unit is already committed, the scheduler will refuse a conflicting attempt. Contact RideAuction support with the attempt reference rather than creating a duplicate listing.
