My auction business: your selling and buying figures in one place

What is this?

Your dealership’s own units sold and won, sell-through, what you owe and what you are owed, trends over the period you choose, and one click to every task.

How does it work?

  • This is your main page: Dashboard is first in the sidebar, and signing in brings you here. Auction home, with active auctions and Recently sold, is the next entry. The period filter sits under Selling (above Buying if you only buy) and applies to every figure on the page.
  • Where: Home → My auction business. It shows only your dealership’s records — never another dealership’s. Choose Today, Last 7, 30 or 90 days, or your own dates (Toronto business days). Figures marked “In period” follow those dates and are compared with the same number of days just before (when the earlier period had nothing, it says so instead of a percentage); figures marked “Right now” are current balances.
  • Selling: units in an auction now, units sold and did not sell, sell-through (your units sold ÷ your units with a result), units to hand over, gross sold value (the winning prices, before fees), average realized price, net proceeds (after the seller fee, any Reserve Fee taken on the sale and the tax on those fees), eligible for payout (buyers paid in full — not money sent yet), payout pending and paid to you. Net proceeds and payouts come from your seller settlement statements, so they always match them.
  • Buying: units you are bidding on that are still open, units won (with your bids and auctions in the period), units to pick up, purchase value, what you owe and what is overdue, payments you reported that RideAuction is verifying, and what RideAuction recorded as paid in the period. What you owe as a buyer is never netted against what you are owed as a seller.
  • Dollar amounts are shown only to staff with your dealership’s “Manage auction activity” authority (the people who handle its auction money). Other staff still see units, bids, handovers and pickups. Ask your dealer principal if you need the amounts.
  • Trends show your units sold and won, and (with the authority above) your sold and purchase value, by day, week or month. Hover, focus or tap a bar for its values, use the arrow keys to move between periods, select a legend entry to hide or show a series, and select a bar to zoom into those dates. “Show the data table” lists every value.
  • What needs your attention lists simple rules on your own records — a payment overdue or still owed, a reported payment being verified, bidding still open, paid units to pick up or hand over, a payout eligible, a big change in sell-through — each with the one place to act. Every figure is a link to its page.

What do I need to do?

  • Open My auction business after each auction.
  • Act on anything listed under What needs your attention.
  • Use Go to for your everyday tasks.

What happens next?

Figures update as buyers pay, units are handed over and RideAuction records payouts. Reload the page for the latest.
